President Kagame, who has led Rwanda since the end of the 1994 genocide, is credited with stabilizing and rebuilding the nation, fostering economic growth, and maintaining peace. His leadership was a focal point of the inauguration ceremony, which also featured military parades, musical performances, and speeches.
