The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Somalia has strongly denied reports claiming that the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Somalia has been expelled.

In an official statement, the Ministry described the reports, which have circulated in sections of the media and on social media platforms, as false and without any factual basis. It warned that such claims risk damaging the diplomatic relations between the two countries.

The Ministry urged media outlets and the public to act responsibly and professionally by relying on official sources when reporting or sharing information.

It also cautioned against the spread of misinformation intended to undermine Somalia’s relations with Arab countries, reaffirming the government’s commitment to maintaining strong diplomatic partnerships.
