Brigadier General Dayax Cabdi Cabdulle, the Commander of the Somali National Army’s Ground Forces, convened a meeting with senior military officers in Waniile, located within the Ceeldheer district of the Galgaduud region. The discussions centered on intensifying the military operations aimed at liberating areas from Al-Shabaab control in the Galmudug and Hirshabelle regions.

After the meeting, Brigadier General Cabdulle inspected military positions held by both Somali National Army and local forces in the Waniile area. His visit aimed to ensure operational readiness and strengthen the efforts to clear the remaining Al-Shabaab strongholds.

The Commander praised the troops for their recent successful offensives against Al-Shabaab, urging them to maintain momentum in the ongoing liberation efforts and bring lasting security to the region.
