.Cadale, Somalia – Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has arrived in the coastal town of Cadale, where he was received by Hirshabelle State President Ali Abdullahi Hussein. The visit is part of the President’s continued efforts to oversee military operations aimed at combating extremist groups and securing liberated areas.
During his visit, President Mohamud is expected to engage with frontline military commanders, Somali National Army troops, and local community leaders to assess the progress made in counterterrorism operations. His presence on the ground highlights the government’s strategic approach to sustaining the offensive against militant groups while strengthening cooperation with local communities.
In a statement, Villa Somalia emphasized the significance of the visit, stating: “By engaging directly with the armed forces and the people on the ground, the President aims to strengthen morale, reinforce strategic initiatives, and build on the significant victories achieved so far.
