Mogadishu (Raxanreeb Online) – Somalia’s Deputy Prime Minister, Saalax Ahmed Jama, chaired a key security meeting at the Banadir Regional Administration headquarters, focusing on improving safety and stability in the capital and its surrounding districts.
The discussions aimed to reinforce security measures, protect residents, and enhance coordination among various security agencies. A key emphasis was placed on strengthening collaboration between government institutions and the public to create a safer environment for everyone.
“The DanQaran administration is deeply committed to working closely with security agencies, supporting the armed forces, and fostering engagement between government bodies and the people. I have instructed the Council of Ministers to join local communities and security officers for Iftar during the holy month of Ramadan, reinforcing unity and trust,” said Deputy Prime Minister Saalax Ahmed Jama.
He also encouraged security officials to build stronger connections with the communities they serve, urging them to remain vigilant and proactive in identifying potential security threats. “By working together, we can ensure that Mogadishu remains a safe and thriving city for all its residents,” he concluded.
