Baidoa (Raxanreeb Online) – The President of Abdiaziz Hasan Mohamed Laftagareen, Abdicasiis Xasan Maxamed Laftagareen, paid a morale-boosting visit to units of the South West State Darawiish forces who are currently being prepared to strengthen security and safeguard governance across the region.

During his visit, the President reiterated his administration’s firm commitment to supporting and enhancing the capacity of the security forces, emphasizing that the government remains determined to ensure the troops are well-equipped and professionally trained to carry out their national responsibilities. These duties include defending the country, protecting state institutions, and eliminating anti-peace armed groups.

He stressed that strengthening security institutions is fundamental to consolidating governance and maintaining stability throughout South West State. The President further noted that effective security forces play a vital role in protecting civilians and enabling development efforts across the region.

The visit is part of ongoing initiatives by the South West State Government aimed at reinforcing security, rebuilding public institutions, and ensuring sustainable peace for communities living in South West State.
