Kismayo (Raxanreeb Online) – Somali National Army (SNA) forces, in collaboration with Jubbaland’s Darwish forces, carried out a security operation targeting Al-Shabaab militants in the Lower Juba region. The operation, which took place in the past few hours, focused on areas under Jamaame district.

Among the villages where the forces conducted the operation were Malaayley, Bandar Xaaji, Haraare, and Muuse Xaaji. Military officials leading the mission confirmed that several Al-Shabaab fighters were neutralized, and key militant hideouts were destroyed. However, they did not disclose the exact number of casualties.

The officials further reiterated their commitment to ongoing efforts aimed at dismantling Al-Shabaab’s presence in the region. They emphasized that such operations are part of a broader strategy to enhance security and stability in Jubbaland.
