Puntland’s Deputy Minister of Security and DDR, Abdirahman Yusuf Dujaana, on Tuesday chaired a high-level security meeting to assess the situation in Mudug region and review ongoing efforts to maintain stability.

The meeting, attended by the State Minister of Livestock, senior police officers, security officials and members of Puntland’s defence forces, focused on strengthening security coordination, improving cooperation among security institutions and preventing incidents that could threaten public safety.

Among the officials present was the Deputy Commander of the Mudug Regional Police Division, Major Ayub Said Ali, known as Dheeg, who briefed the meeting on the latest security developments and operations being carried out in the region.

Deputy Minister Dujaana urged security agencies to step up their efforts, enhance inter-agency coordination and work closely with local communities to safeguard peace and stability across Mudug.
