Puntland (Raxanreeb Online)– The President of Puntland State, Said Abdullahi Deni, today received the United Kingdom’s Ambassador to Somalia, Michael Nithavrianakis.

The meeting, attended by several members of Puntland’s Council of Ministers, focused on the ongoing counter-terrorism operations aimed at eradicating extremist groups in the region.

Ambassador Nithavrianakis praised Puntland’s efforts in combating ISIS, emphasizing the UK’s continued support for Puntland’s fight against terrorism.

Furthermore, the ambassador highlighted the UK’s commitment to strengthening its cooperation with the Puntland administration, as well as enhancing development projects across Puntland and Somalia as a whole.
