The Commander of the Banadir Regional Police Division, Mahdi Omar Mumin, on Monday presided over a high-level security review meeting aimed at assessing the prevailing security environment in the capital and reinforcing ongoing stabilization efforts.

The session brought together senior officers representing the various operational, investigative and district-level units of the Banadir Regional Police. Participants conducted a comprehensive review of recent security developments and examined the outcomes of coordinated operations carried out over the past week.

According to officials present, the commander received detailed situation reports outlining incidents that had been thwarted, progress achieved in priority operations, and the current security dynamics across Mogadishu’s districts.
