A cargo plane laden with crucial logistics for the African Union Transition Mission (ATMIS) has crashed at Jowhar airport, just 90 kilometers from Mogadishu on Saturday, airport staff and eyewitnesses said.
The aircraft, heavily loaded with food and essential items, veered off the runway upon landing, coming to a halt on the side.
Fortunately, no human casualties have been reported thus far, according to airport staff and eyewitnesses.
