GAROWE, Puntland – Puntland President Said Abdullahi Deni, accompanied by Vice President Ahmed Elmi Osman (Karaash), hosted Puntland’s representatives from both Houses of the Somali Federal Parliament at the Presidential Palace last night.

The gathering included prominent leaders such as Speaker of the Puntland House of Representatives, Mr. Abdirisak Ahmed Said, Second Deputy Speaker Mr. Mohamed Mohamud Isse, members of the Puntland Parliament, the Director General of the Presidency, and other senior officials.

During the meeting, President Deni addressed the ongoing tensions between his administration and the Federal Government of Somalia, focusing on the escalating political disagreements that have increasingly strained relations between Puntland and the federal authorities.

These consultations, which are ongoing, are aimed at fostering dialogue on the deteriorating relationship between Puntland and the Somali Federal Government, as both sides seek resolutions to ease the political discord affecting stability in the region.
