MOGADISHU — Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hamza Abdi Barre, has departed for Qatar following an official invitation from the Qatari government.
The visit aims to strengthen the longstanding relations and strategic cooperation between Somalia and Qatar, with particular emphasis on economic cooperation, investment and social development.
During his stay in Qatar, Prime Minister Barre is expected to hold high-level meetings with senior Qatari officials. The discussions will focus on expanding bilateral cooperation and exploring new opportunities that serve the shared interests of both countries.
The visit forms part of the Federal Government of Somalia’s broader diplomatic efforts to deepen its international partnerships and strengthen its engagement with countries around the world.
